Newly elected Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy has made some moves. Could it be more of the “Bread & Circuses” we have come to expect from Washington, DC. Removing some of the worst Democrats from some key committees in the House of Representatives is keeping a promise he made last year, but will that be the extent of it? We’ll have to wait and see. I believe that his actions with regard to Shifty Schiff, Swalwell the Flatulent, and Omar the Brother’s Keeper are just a bit of red meat thrown conservatives way. We’ll have to wait and see though.
There has been some committee chair assignments that look good as well.
However, the proposed conservative legislation has absolutely no chance of going anywhere with a communist controlled Senate and White House. Speaker McCarthy knows this all to well. So be careful cheering any legislation that is being tossed our way to appease the conservative base.
