These are dark times in our Republic ladies and gentlemen. Government institutions all over the country have broken the peoples’ trust. Financial institutions are failing. There is an active invasion along our Southern border, bringing suffering, death, destruction, and human trafficking into every neighborhood in our nation, eroding the trust in the systems meant to secure the citizens’ liberty. Faith based institutions have also broken our trust by embracing and promoting teachings and philosophies antithetical to God’s word. In essence, trust in nearly everything has been broken and may never be restored.
There is something though that has never broken our trust. That is our Creator, the one who loves us more than we can comprehend, nor ever understand in this temporary place. That is why I am sharing this worship song.
The worship team at my church performed this song a few weeks ago and it speaks more to me than any other worship song that I can remember hearing in the past. Maybe it is because of the breaking of the trust I previously had in nearly every man-made institution in the world. It reminds me of a trust that can never be broken. In lyrics and a melody, this song serves to remind us that we can trust in God’s covenant with God that happened at the cross. A covenant that mankind is the beneficiary of. God will never break the promise he made with himself the we can all have eternal life by faith and belief in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
So I am sharing this in the hopes that this song will somehow reach as many people as possible and reassure them that there is a trust that cannot be broken. Our Creator will always be the fourth man in the fires we all walk through in life.
Please listen and share, especially with those people you know that are losing, or have lost, all hope. Jesus Christ is our living hope.
