Please see the following from the Sevier County GOP:

The Sevier County Republican Party Reorganization of the Executive Committee Officers will be held on March 20, 2023 at 12:00 noon at the Sevier County Courthouse in the County Commission Meeting Room, 125 Court Avenue, Sevierville, TN 37862.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ATTENDEES

If you are considering attending the Reorganization Meeting for the Executive Officers of the Sevier County Republican Party, please read the following rules and regulations of the Tennessee Republican Party concerning individuals who are eligible to participate.

You Must Be a Bona Fide Tennessee Republican as per Tennessee Republican Party Standards

– Individuals MUST be a Sevier County registered voter and MUST have voted in at least three (3) of the last four (4) Tennessee Republican state-wide or federal PRIMARIES. Those primaries are:

2018 August TN State Primary

2020 March TN Presidential Primary

2020 August TN State Primary

2022 August TN State Primary

Again, these are Tennessee state-wide or federal PRIMARIES. Voting in local primaries including county or city primaries, voting in the General Elections (for example, in November) DOES NOT COUNT TOWARD BONA FIDE STATUS.

o It is the responsibility of the individual to ensure their voting status is properly recorded with the Sevier County Election Commission. The Sevier County Republican Party will use voting history for individuals as provided by the Sevier County Election Commission. Individuals who did not vote in Sevier County but voted in another Tennessee county in any of the above primaries MUST bring proof of that voting record, not just a voter registration card. The Sevier County Republican Party will verify with the state-wide system this proof of record to ensure accuracy.

o To Review, Sevier County Registered Voters:

** IF YOU VOTED EXCLUSIVELY IN SEVIER COUNTY in three (3) of the last four (4) Tennessee Republican state-wide or federal primaries, check to make sure your records with the Sevier County Election Commission are accurate and reported to the Sevier County Republican Party properly.

** IF YOU VOTED IN OTHER TENNESSEE COUNTIES AND/OR SEVIER COUNTY in three (3) of the last four (4) Tennessee Republican state-wide or federal primaries, your Sevier County record will be available to the Sevier County Republican Party but your other Tennessee county record WILL NOT. You must bring proof of your other county voting record for any of the above-mentioned Tennessee primaries. A member of the Contest and redentials

Committee will verify with the state-wide system your presented evidence for voting in other counties to ensure its accuracy.

** IF YOU DID NOT VOTE IN SEVIER COUNTY OR OTHER TENNESSEE COUNTIES in three (3) of the last four (4) Tennessee Republican state-wide or federal primaries, you are NOT eligible to participate in the 2023 Reorganization of Officers.

NOTE: Individuals MUST also bring a valid photo ID to verify status to participate.

The Sevier County Republican Party Contest and Credentials Committee will make all final decisions on eligibility. DO NOT WAIT until Monday, March 20 to ensure your status. Call the Sevier County Election Commission at (865) 453-6985 to verify. For questions, you can contact the Contest and Credentials Committee at seviercountygop@gmail.com.

Per Tennessee Republican Party Rules, Nominees for officers must also meet the Bona Fide rules above with the additional requirement that their 3 out of 4 primary votes must have taken place in Sevier County
